Wegdam Foundation
The Wegdam Foundation was born out of the activities of Wegdam Food Link BV, a trading company and investor with a strong presence across the African continent. Through this work, founder Brian Wegdam was confronted not only with extreme poverty and heartbreaking situations, but also with inspiring local individuals who are actively working to change them. These are the heroes we aim to support in their fight against poverty and injustice.
The foundation was established to raise funds and resources to support impactful, community-led projects in the countries where we operate. All financial aid and donated goods go directly to where they are needed most, without overhead costs, and with maximum local impact.
