Success Story: Growing Hope — Wegdam Foundation Supports Sustainable Agriculture

In partnership with local changemakers, the Wegdam Foundation successfully completed an agricultural project that now empowers families in Sierra Leone with tools for food security, income, and independence.

Through this initiative, community members received training, seeds, tools, and support to grow their own crops. What began as a small-scale farming project has blossomed into a source of daily nutrition and livelihood for dozens of families.

Fields that were once unused are now thriving with crops.
Families have access to fresh, healthy food.
People have gained farming skills and new income opportunities.

The project not only feeds communities but also breaks cycles of poverty by promoting self-reliance and sustainable growth. It’s a long-term investment in both people and the planet.

This is more than farming — it’s a harvest of hope.
Thanks to your support, the seeds we planted are now changing lives.
