Collecting school furniture

In overcrowded classrooms across the George Brook slum community and the Karene district, students sit on the floor, share broken desks, or stand for hours just to learn. Without basic furniture like chairs, desks, and tables, children struggle to focus, and teachers struggle to teach.

Wegdam Foundation is collecting school furniture to transform empty classrooms into safe, functional learning spaces for hundreds of eager students.

A desk can give a child dignity.
A chair can give them rest and focus.
A classroom with proper furniture becomes a place of possibility and hope.
