Construction of classrooms in Kamaha village

In Kamaha village, one of the most densely populated communities in Sierra Leone’s Karene District, 350 students are crammed into just six aging classrooms, with only five teachers to guide them. No safe water source, no proper sanitation, and no space to learn, the children of Kamaha are being denied their most basic right: education in a safe and healthy environment.

The urgent construction of six new classrooms, a borehole for clean water, and sanitation facilities is not a luxury, it’s a lifeline. Without immediate support, overcrowding will worsen, dropout rates will rise, and the cycle of poverty will continue.
